PromoTheRobot Posted November 25 Posted November 25 So with Bowling Green beating Ball State Saturday, the only way Buffalo has a shot of making the MAC Championship is if Ball State beats Ohio in Athens. Not very likely. Still a great year and a chance to go 8-4 with a win over Kent State Tuesday, with a bowl to follow. 1 Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted November 27 Posted November 27 (edited) 43-7 win over Kent State. Bulls are now 8-4/6-2 in conference. If Ball State and Bowling Green win Friday, UB plays in the MAC Championship. Also Lembo's first year record (8-4) is the best in a coach's first year in UB history. The 2023 head coach leaves in January for Alabama after Saban retires. A fair amount if players transfer out. What a job by the coaching staff to recruit players to form a team and then have this unexpected success! 2 1 Quote

I haven't looked deep into Alabama's defensive performance this season under Linguist but then again he is only co-DC so he might not be worth the full blame there but he was definitely not a good HC here. For Alabama that is insane Yes I get that Oklahoma isn't as good as it technically usually is... But it still has Oklahoma recruits and talent... If their defense hasn't been on the field all year they might have a top 5 defense So while it was a bad loss to Oklahoma.. Oklahoma still has a lot of talent and has a mean defense Edited November 27 by Buffalo716 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted Saturday at 04:15 AM Posted Saturday at 04:15 AM UB didn't get the tiebreaker they needed to make the MAC Championship. So now we wait for our bowl bid. 1 Quote

Albeit a good one He isn't leaving this off-season for a paltry job barely a step up I think an extension will happen possibly in the summer Quote
