MAC refs strike again against UB.

UB was leading 14-3.

Miami kicked a field goal but UB was called for a personal foul for blowing up the center. Replay showed it was actually the guard. Shouldn't have been a penalty. Miami got a TD right after.

Or Myers giving up the ball on back to back drives doesn't help

What does that have to do with a god awful call that gave Miami a TD?

Cus he' just did it again

One call doesn't change a game, you need to fight through that. Bad calls happen

3 turnovers will Lose a game

That still has nothing to do with the refs giving them a TD.

UB can be criticized but the refs gave Miami a TD and that was a costly call.

This playcalling is a joke as always. Constantly run on first and second downs. Leaving third and long and they send a blitz on 3rd down and the pass protection is terrible.

Sure it's a costly call but the refs didn't put 6 on the board. UB still trotted out a defense

They held them 3 times from the 2 before half.. that penalty gave them the ball at like the 7... You still gotta try and stop them and you can

The drive should've been over. The refs gave them a TD instead of field goal. Period.

Again UB can be criticized but the refs screwed UB there also.

Why can't we ever try a screen on 2nd and long instead of a run?

They're being aggressive sending blitzers too. Best way to negate that is a screen. Absolutely zero adjustments by Kotelnicki and Leipold.

Also clear tug of the jersey on that 4th and long by the Miami DB with no call.

Another 4th down play where the DB held Nunn's jersey for awhile slowing him up just enough so the ball went off his fingertips (probably a TD without the hold).. of course no call. Should've been 1st and goal at the 2-yard line. Instead the turnover on downs pretty much ends our chance to win.

UB's play was extremely disappointing but these refs have been terrible and favoring Miami all game.

Koonce with a strip sack and Riggins recovers

First play after that Vantrease hits Nunn for a TD to give UB a 14-7 lead with about 14:40 left in the 4th qtr.

Leipold calls a timeout right before Ohio jumps offside on 4th and 1 from the 29-yard line. UB would've had first down at the Ohio 24-yard line if he didn't do that with only 1:26 left in a 14-14 game.

Then he tries a 46-yard field goal which is an extremely low percentage play in college instead of going for it on 4th and 1 and of course it's missed.

I bet you'd convert 4th and 1 way more than you would make a 46-yard field goal with a freshman college kicker. Not sure why so many college coaches treat long field goals like a gimme.

At least Ohio got stopped and it's going to OT now but that's still annoying how he cost us a chance to win in regulation there.

UB gets a TD in OT to go up 20-14 and Balter misses the XP. Unreal

Ohio gets the TD and XP to win 21-21.

This isn't reactionary either but I hope Leipold is fired. I hate his coaching style. Such a conservative boring coach who is way too obsessed with running and often tries long field goals with bad kickers. He's such a gutless coach.

Its a tad reactionary. He threw the ball tons last year when he has the parts... Our 3rd WR is a converted QB this season and they lost their top 3 receivers from last season

Leopold is easily the best coach since Turner Gill and axing him would only set back the progress
