PromoTheRobot Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 First time ever. From where this school was 20 years ago, this is a crowning achievement. 3 Quote
Willyville Guy Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I remember when UB moved into Division I and hearing at the time that it would take about 20 years to become relevant. It really is something for the local team. 3 Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 The problem with being Jerry Sullivan is that your old columns and tweets can be found on the internet. https://twitter.com/MallareJoe/status/1335754608006860801 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Jaret Patterson needs just 318 yards in the next three games to become the top rusher in UB history. He might break that in one game, this Saturday, vs Akron. 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 With Kent State/Ohio officially called off, the MAC finally declared Buffalo MAC East champions and will play either Ball State or Western Michigan in the conference final. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Sorry for the subscription Athletic story but here's a fascinating interview with UB's first FBS coach describing the cluster**** UB's joining the MAC was, and how poorly it was thought through. He reflects on where the program is now and a what a miracle it is. https://theathletic.com/2250937/2020/12/09/craig-cirbus-buffalo-football-program/?source=dailyemail 1 Quote

Most of the people that stayed ended up in our section where the tunnel is. Was a great time. Cirbus gave me a high five so hard my hand hurt for a few days. 1 Quote

He's not that big and NFL defenders aren't college defenders. But he's so shifty and has amazing balance. Quote

Don't get me wrong I love Patterson. If he runs mid 4.5's or better I think he comes out. Quote
