BobbyC81 Posted November 13 Posted November 13 (edited) It’s wild! It’s crazy! It’s MACtion! Buffalo defense seemed good earlier in the year. Now, can’t cover, can’t tackle. It’s utterly amazing that they pulled this game out! Now, bowl eligible! Need to thump Akron, as they should, to get in better shape for a bowl game. As many bowl games as there are, 6 wins doesn’t guarantee anything. There could be a half dozen or more MAC teams at 6-6 or better. Edited November 13 by BobbyC81 Quote

They take some 5-7 schools now. UB is 4-2 in the conference. If they go 6-2 they have slim tiebreaker chance to get to the MAC Championship. Quote

I remember when leipold was running roughshod on the Mac... Yet couldn't get it done the title game because of tough gritty teams that never gave up This team is not the most talented in the Mac... It's certainly might have the most heart Which in a league where the talent margin is very slim I'll take the heart Quote
Buffalo716 Posted November 13 Author Posted November 13 Think on this bulls fans UB is the first FBS football team in history to win a game down 15 with under 4 minutes left First team ever Heart of a champion congratulations bulls Quote

I really think the game winning touchdown was actually an INT but there wasn’t enough to overturn. Looks like the RB didn’t control the ball and the defender took it from him. Quote

The only way the defender would have controlled the ball enough for an INT, would have been when the UB defender is turned to the other side, and by that time, the defender is already out of bounds. In the end zone, once possession is established it's a touchdown. You can't rip the ball away. Quote

I don’t think there was enough possession for there to be a tie and the defender had the ball at the end. It was moving all the way to the ground and it looks like the defender had the ball then the RB grabbed at it after. 7 hours ago, Back2Buff said: The only way the defender would have controlled the ball enough for an INT, would have been when the UB defender is turned to the other side, and by that time, the defender is already out of bounds. It’s possible they were OOB when they gained possession. The angles weren’t great. Quote

It was on the local news last night It literally said first FBS team to win down by more than 14, so 15... With whatever amount of time was left when they started the run I know it sounded crazy and I tried to do some research myself and I really couldn't verify it but they definitely said it Quote
