And they owe him no respect for his career choices.

Doesn't mean you have to boo. Doesn't mean you have to be the little person. It doesn't mean you have to set a bad example for all the young kids that were in attendance. That's what is wrong with our society. We just don't care about doing the right thing anymore.

Maybe because I'm older now, or have other priorities like my kids but I don't understand how people spend so much energy being so  judgemental with athletes. Unless they turn out to be criminals, I couldn't care less what they say or do off the field. Even if they do good things, I just don't care.

Rodgers does come across as an idiot.  He masks it to some extent by engaging in a word-salad composed of fancy words.

The issue with Luck is that he decided 2 weeks before the regular season after thinking about it for 10 days.  A much better approach would be to go on IR, then retire if you don't feel better.  https://www.foxnews.com/sports/andrew-luck-retirement-decision-under-fire     Steve Berlin has a good take on it, and this approach.

Luck came across as, "well, this hurts, I don't really care about football, the team, or anything else."  Regardless of whether he intended it, that was the impression he gave.  For someone who is allegedly a genius, he totally botched his retirement by not anticipating the fan reaction.

If Rodgers is annoying what do you think of Tom Brady or Philip Rivers??

Some fans apparently want QBs to be dumb jocks who can’t put two sentences together.

....they got caught by surprise at the game because Schefter had to be a FIRST d-bag to break the news...he's a cross between Rona Barrett and TMZ's Howie........Rappaport has FAR more class........

The fans got taken by surprise during a pre-season game with Luck standing on the sideline. That may have contributed the booing. But honestly Luck has as much right to walk away unexpectedly as the fans do to boo him.

I think the biggest douche in the whole thing isn't Luck, Rodgers or Schefter. Its the guy who leaked it to Schefter.

Danica seems more his type/style.

Danica makes a good wing (wo)man for the driving, since Rodgers is often seen indulging.

If need be, she could outrun 'em if she too had indulged. Though they surely hire a driver.

Wonder if Allstate insures Danica ? She's had her share of wrecks driving at her job.

Most overrated QB in the league

Doesn't mean he isn't good but he gets far more credit than he deserves

Yikes.    I don’t like the guy but this is ridiculous.

He pulls Hail Marys out of his ass when needed.      He’s a monster on the field, in no world is he overrated imo.

No question he is very good but he is talked about like a guy who wins a lot more than he does.

Funny. all the talk I hear is that he elevates and carries a mediocre team well beyond what their talent would otherwise dictate...

If you're worried about BOOING setting a bad example for kids in attendance, then you must REALLY love what they're bombarded by in the media today.

Remember how Peyton Manning "couldn't win the big games"

He played in 4 Super Bowls and won an awful lot of big games along the way. His teams were always in the playoffs and his Colts teams were the definition of mediocre.

Rogers is Mr. 8-8. Wake me up when his team matters.

Oh, he will be in the running for MVP while his team wins 6 games and he orders around his head coach though! Best QB in the league! Lol

He's definitely cocky and has strong opinions.  I saw an interview with him slamming the ending of Game of Thrones and how "everyone had a better story than Bran...." and he says it like he knows whats right and the writers suck blah blah.

Not my kind of guy, but still the most fun QB to watch run an offense.  Not many teams get back to back hall of famers at QB, green bay lucked out.
