I don’t think we should be overlooking our own defense. I’m not denying Darnold has talent, but I really believe our defense will give him fits. Bell isn’t gonna come in and be what he was after being off a year and no preseason games.

A lot of pundits have this marked down as a loss for the Bills, but I honestly believe they’re overlooking our D and overestimating the Jets’ O.

I'm somewhat concerned about our pass rush - Darnold is a different QB when under pressure.  I think we'll play good against the run down and our corners are certainly capable of playing well against their WR's.

I think we're a better team and I think it will come down to which QB performs better.

I think it is going to be a real tough opener. I don't see either team winning by more than 3 or 4 points. Two pretty evenly matched teams. I give the Bills a coaching advantage but the Jets have home field advantage.

I find it interesting that in so many national outlets the Jets are getting significantly more love. I think we have fewer holes and an established coaching staff, but of course we are on the road.

I feel like the Jets play hard in week 1 most years. It's going to be a really tough week 1 test for us given their dline strength, but on paper, we should take it.

We have a very good chance to win If we can shutdown Enunwa, Bell, and Montgomery.  Bell doesn’t scare me as much as Montgomery.

I think Dabol can scheme against William’s defense either through power run formations or through quick hitting, NE like, spread formations.  They Bills ran both looks in preseason.

It will be close and I hope it doesn’t come down to Special Teams.

I think the bills have a nice year but if i'm being perfectly honestly I expect a close loss week 1..... which will suck because it will be my first day down in Jamaica for my anniversary vacation.... a win would really set the week off right.

If Oliver is as advertised in terms of getting pressure up the middle, I don't know whether or not Darnold is effective throwing on the run. I don't think he'll be taking many 7 step drops, but if he does, that could be a favorable outcome in the Bills favor either by our D line or our Safeties. I'm trusting our LBs to shut down the short stuff, Bell might get his bell rung by Edmonds a few times on some screens

I have anxiety pretty much all day everyday. At one time or another was pretty much prescribed everything. What I’ve found is a vape pen before bed kills the anxiety through the night. Can’t mess with it during the day because of work but give it a try!! You won’t worry about week 1 at all. :)

I'm all nervous and jerky with a high level of anxiety.  Facing Greggo and having to have our defense pitch a shutout? I can't think of a worse game to lose this year then game one.

Someone please tell me my fear is wrong.  It kinda sucks too that all the "beat reporters" are talking up Darnold. We need Oliver to take him out on the first series and beat Carp lips  to the punch.

Talk me off the ledge!.....probably stepping into one  there.

I'm nervous every year. I would've liked to open with the Giants or Bengals instead and build momentum going into the Jets game but it is what it is. To me that games a toss up. Both teams are looking for a big turn around and they are at home. I'd feel better if we were home. Good test moving forward.

I saw Pro Football Talk the other day and Florio and Simms were saying they had us and the Jets right there in the mix and they thought one or other of us grabs a wildcard. That isn't that different to how I see it so the two head to heads matter even more than normal.

No anxiety at all.

I live among Jet fans. They overhype their team every season.  This year’s Jets are overhyped, like usual.  Their offensive line is nothing special.  They’ve got two starting linebackers out.  Their secondary is questionable, at best.  If our “new” offensive line hold up against their front, then we’ve got no problems.  I’ve got no worries about our defense.  None.

Get off off the ledge, bro. We got this first one.

they got a very stout front and greg will send guys. i was hoping our line would have been established by now. i actually don't feel bad about feliciano at center so long as ford and nseke are the right side. i don't know why teller hasn't been getting some heavy lg practice. i'm not sold on spain at all.
