Just Joshin' Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 He had some natural talent but worked hard to be great. He went thru some hard times before making the big time.
Helpmenow Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 His band was good too. Jimmie Vaughn is also good.

Anyway, listen to some of his albums, the man was one of the best axemen ever. The helicopter was fine. If I recall, it was God's hill that made it crash. ?? No ??

Man made machine crashed into a man made ski slope. Pilot error. A two-year probe by the National Transportation Safety Board found that 'improper planning/decision' by the pilot was the main probable cause of the crash. https://www.upi.com/Archives/1992/09/15/Pilot-error-blamed-in-crash-that-killed-Stevie-Ray-Vaughan/9348716529600/ 1

My apartment mate around the time said that someone saw someone suspicious near the helicopter prior to it taking off, thinking sabotage. But that never panned out.
