Ethan in Cleveland Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 When run by Washington and Buffalo this play was virtually unstoppable. Does anyone know why it is no longer run in the NFL? Did defenses finally adjust? I always assumed a quick DE or OLB could blow up the play from the backside but I rarely recall Thurman or any other back getting chased down from behind. 1
Just Joshin' Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 I believe the Bills ran it a few times vs Detriot. Maybe the lack of skilled Guards?
CaptnCoke11 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Linebackers are faster in today’s NFL. It’s harder to run it successfully
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 (edited) The Bills OC prior to Daboll was all about it, or very similar to it as any faithful Kubiak Disciple is. Daboll is running a variation of the 2014-2016 Pats offense Edited August 27, 2019 by Over 29 years of fanhood
