I want the Bills to succeed, but surely you don't think the Bills pre-season record has anything to do with that?  The 0-16 Lions were 4-0 in pre-season!

I think management is trying to distract us from the prospect of another 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 no-playoff season of mediocrity.

Yes this article posted roughly two weeks before the season starts will clearly distract people months later in the middle of the season this makes perfect sense.?‍♂️

ok snowflake :"you win" not going to get into a political debate about a friggin female NFL coaching intern!

Lol i like how I am the sensitive snowflake for not giving a **** about the gender of who gets hired to be an intern position coach (or any type of coach) in men’s football.

Seems like the one’s trying to wall themselves up in their hobbies and entertainments by gender are the sensitive ones chief.

You're the one who made the assertion it was a PC hire. Where is your proof?

Look at "her" qualifications.. i know of many more men qualified.. she was hired because she is a "woman" .. get your proverbial head out iof your ...,.,. if you think otherwise .. and as i read your other responses , i think you actually believe the nonsense  you espouse..

Nice, putting "her" in quotes. That tells all I need to know about you. Bye.

Does it matter?

Exactly so why does the media have to put that we hired a female coach in the headlines...  It doesn't matter.  If media is gonna put something in the headlines then of course it will get questioned

He is not wrong. There are way more qualified candidates.

It matters because it was a diverse hiring and gets another (one of the hew) women in the door is a traditionally-dominated man's field.

Even if true, it is not always about the "most qualified" in the way you mean it.

Because a diverse workplace means a stronger workplace, one where everyone's voice is heard at the table..

That's kinda the core argument in this thread, is it not?

There are other reasons to consider, such as fit and diversity.

My argument: "Diversity" should never EVER be a hiring consideration.
