LABILLBACKER Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Very good picks. I'm done with Dimarco. Sign Ryan Allen today. Like Marcus Murphy but we can't keep 5 and Yeldon is too valuable as a receiver. It will be tough to say goodbye to Yarbrough. Don't know what to do with Hauschka?
chris heff Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 I don’t think Spain goes on IR. I don’t understand DiMarco, how many plays per game? Can’t that role be filled by a TE? Are they going to keep Croom just for the sake of having four healthy TEs? I know they play different positions, but a roster spot is a roster spot. If I had to choose between keeping DiMarco or Croom over Duke Williams and Zay Jones it’s not a hard decision.
Tsaikotic Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Offense (25): QB (2): Allen / Barkley RB (4) (5): McCoy / Gore / Singletary / Yeldon / DiMarco - Read a few times that Dabol's offense will use DiMarco in tricky ways OL (9) (8): Dawkins / Spain / Morse / Ford / Nsekhe / Feliciano / Bates / Long / Teller / McDermott IR: Spain, Waddle - I went Teller over Long due to both Bates and Feliciano can backup OC and Teller is young OG with some potential TE (4) (3): Knox / Smith / Sweeney / Croom PUP: Kroft WR (6) (7): Brown / Beasley / Foster / Williams / McKenzie / Roberts / Jones Defense (25): DL (8): Hughes / Oliver / Lotulelei / Murphy / Lawson / J. Wayne Arnold Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Dimarco is a lock whether we want him gone or not. lol at Conor McDermott making this team. Mike Love makes the team easily. There's no way in hell this team keeps seven linebackers. That's ludicrous. I think Croom's days in Buffalo are numbered. Can't stay healthy, Knox is a major upgrade over him anyway, and Sweeney stole his job.

His contributions on special teams are huge and he'll play around 20% of the offensive snaps. Fullback is a part of Brian Daboll's offense, and to say that other guys could easily do what he does is to understate his abilities. I really have no interest in Jason Croom. He's Just A Guy to me. I'd rather see Spencer Long make the roster than Duke Williams. Give me experienced, versatile offensive line depth over a receiver who can't separate any day of the week. Can't expose Jaquan Johnson to waivers. Dude's gonna be a baller. I can see them keeping Pitts over Munnerlyn for special teams reasons. 2

Teller has had a excellent summer and is one tough cut. Zay will make it McKenzie is another tough cut (ball security). on defense I think Stanford is cut(Thompson or Lorax (played mike in Spartanburg practices)will be backup MIKE and safety Johnson makes it. We will be playing a ton of dime this year and are going extremely heavy with DB’s. I know there’s a ton of rumors about Clowney but I won’t be surprised for another trade or two at the bottom of the roster. Haus money will be on 53. We will have a punter in September that’s not currently on the roster. Cleveland has a #2 punter that can kick it out of the stadium..... 7 minutes ago, Tsaikotic said: I'd be ok with Long if thats what they wanted to do, but I think Teller has some potential and wont make it past waivers for PS Munnerlyn knows the defense and can play Pitts role of ST I am always suspicious about old Carolina guys coming onto Bills roster. djp14150 Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 How I see it... roster QB=2. OL= 9. RB/WR/TE= 13 (4/6/3) total=24 DL=8. LB=6. DB=10 total=24 ST=K P LS total=3 2 open roster spots for keeping another player on each side id keep a 4th TE or a 5th RB over a over a FB on defense I look at keeping a young player who has talent but my not clear waivers for PS. I put the 7th round pick Johnson in this if he isn’t ready yet.
MikeSpeed Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Either 86 Lee Smith or DeMarco. If we're going to NEED blocking at the TE spot in a play, stick another lineman there. If we keep Smith he can play FB for the 1 or 2 plays a game. Personally I'd jettison both, but if I had to choose it would be Smith.
MAJBobby Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 (edited) I am going to go with this... (With the PS) QB (2): Josh Allen, Matt Barkley Cuts: Tyree Jackson This was always going to happen as Tyree Never had a shot to force them to keep three. However I think the 4th game is going to have to be MUCH better than he has been to even land a Spot on the PS. I really think he has even has played himself off the PS at this point. RBs (5): Lesean McCoy, Dvin Singletary, Frank Gore, T.J. Yeldon, Patrick DiMarco Cuts: Senorise Perry, Marcus Murphy, Christian Wade Not what I would do, however I am thinking what the Bills would do. I personally would AX DiMarco (Bills won't). Yeldon makes the team over Perry (will be inactive on Game Days though) and the reason is the Bills keep DiMarco for Special Teams. Yeldon's game against the Colts showed why he will make the team he is such a threat out of the Backfield in terms of catching the Ball. Wade a good story however needs more time before making the 53 so like most all International Pathway Program Players will head to the PS. I would also think Murphy will hit the PS if he passes through waivers. WRs (6): John Brown, Cole Beasley, Robert Foster, Isaiah McKenzie, Duke Williams, Andre Roberts Traded: Zay Jones Cuts: Ray Ray McCloud, Cam Phillips, Victor Bolden, David Sills, Nick Easley Hard one here, But with only keeping 6 (which the Bills typically do) Zay Jones gets traded. I would keep 7 but I don't think the Bills will. So They will try and trade Zay. Another option will be starting the season with Robert Foster on IR (in order to do that he would have to make the initial 53 so they would have to expose someone to waivers and take that chance). I think they would like to put McCloud on PS (dont think he will clear waivers though). The rest Phillips, Bolden, Sills and Easley will fight for probably 2 PS slots, so week 4 will be key to them. TEs (4) Tyler Kroft, Dawson Knox, Tommy Sweeney, Lee Smith Cuts: Jason Croom, Keith Towbridge, Nate Becker, Kyle Carter Croom missing the 53 man roster IMO because Kroft will not start on the PUP. However if Kroft Starts on the PUP then I think Croom makes it. He will likely go to the PS the rest are blah. OL (8) Dion Dawkins, Mitch Morse, Quinton Spain, Ty Nsekhe, Cody Ford, Spencer Long, Jon Feliciano, Ryan Bates Cuts: Jarron Jones, Wyatt Teller, Ike Boettger, Demetrius Rhaney, Russell Bodine, Conor McDermott, De'Ondre Wesley, Eric Magnuson This on is a little tough cutting Teller however I am going with everyone being healthy during cut-down time, if there is still questions with Morse, Nsekhe and Spain than they may end up carrying 9 initially. However the 8 that I pick offer the most flexibility of the group and why a 9th OL is not needed. You have Bates that can play all along the line, Feliciano and Long with both OGs and Center, Spain can play both OGs. Then you have Ford that can play inside and out, and Nsekhe that can play both OTs. This is a dream scenario to have the best 5 on the field at any given time. I think they would try and put Teller on the PS along with Jones. But Teller also may not clear Waivers. DL (8) Jerry Hughes, Trent Murphy, Shaq Lawson, Darryl Johnson, Star Lotulelei, Ed Oliver, Jordon Phillips, Harrison Phillips Cuts: Mike Love, Eddie Yarnrough, LT Walton, Kyle Peko, Same Acho, Roderick Young. Mike Love has played his ass off and really deserves to make the 53 but Johnson has also outplayed him as well. So it comes down to do we keep the extra DE or the extra LB or DB. I went with the extra DB. So I think Love is the odd man out, Bills would LOVE to get him back on the PS, however I think he also has played enough to not make it though waivers. LBs (6) Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano, Lorenzo Alexander, Julian Stanford, Corey Thompson, Deon Lacy Cuts: Tyrel Dodson, Maurice Alexander, Vosean Joseph With the amount that the NFL runs subpackages on defense I think they will only go 6 here and allowing to keep 7 DBs. Joseph has been invisible at camp but he and Dodson will land on the PS. I think that if they do keep 7 here then Joseph likely makes the team. I also like Lacy he has really progressed and because of that Maurice Alexander doesn't make the team. CBs (7) Tre'Davious White, Levi Wallace, Kevin Johnson, Taron Johnson, Captain Munnerlyn, Siran Neal, Lafayette Pitts Cuts: Denzel Rice, Ryan Lewis, Cam Lewis Great Depth at this position they could go with just 6, and who ever the next that would be cut will make another 53 man roster. Actually both Ryan Lewis and Cam Lewis might not be there for the PS either. I just could not bring myself to cut Pitts, he plays all over and has had a very solid offseason. So I take one less LBer and go with the extra CB. Safeties (4): Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Kurt Coleman, Jaquan Johnson Cuts: Dean Marlowe, Abraham Wallace Think this was the easiest lock to predict with the exception of QB. Though I also think that Johnson was going to be on the PS initially but has outplayed Marlow to stick on the 53 IMO. Specialists (3): Stephen Hauschka, Corey Bojorquez, Reid Ferguson Cuts: Cory Carter, Chase McLaughlin Dont think either punter SHOULD make the team, but initially have to have someone.
