TigerJ Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I think Bates graded out pretty well at left tackle in the game after grading out well at center in the Panthers game. If he can play center and tackle, it's hard to imagine that he could not play guard too.. That kind of versatility could make him very hard to cut.

CSBill Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 If Spain can't go soon, and presuming Morse is taken out of the bubble-wrap for the opener, I would suspect that Felliciano will slide over to LG. He has been rock solid in the three games--I think they find a place for him in the starting line-up.

Spain was begging Bobby Johnson to go back in before the cart came out, so hard to say what the extent of the injury is. Even though he left in a walking boot, that’s common to take precaution. If he can’t go week 1 (and he hasn’t been very good anyway... ) does Boettger (a former UDFa) get the nod over Teller, a 5th rd pick from a year ago? Does teller get cut because he provides zero versatility on the OL (only plays G)? I would say you were right with your speculation. Well done YOLO. 2 1

John from Riverside Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 I think the trading of Teller signals Bates makes it
