Tom Brady's application to trademark the term "Tom Terrific" has been refused by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Brady's application for the trademark was officially refused by the USPTO on Thursday because "the applied-for mark consists of or includes matter which may falsely suggest a connection with Tom Seaver."

Waiting for the dreaded misleading / vague notice. Lol

I thought this thread was going to be about that late career Manning-Esque duck flutter of a throw he had last night

But I heard Tom played well last night and used his legs.

The Bills crushed the Panthers and the Pats scored as many points as a team as Josh Allen alone.

He was himself but looks old, as he did in the Super Bowl. I’m not making any predictions on him or the Pats. They always seem to win anyway. They will have a great running game and defense. Just calling it how I see it. He looks 42 out there.

I keep saying it: he's still a good QB...he's just not Tom Brady anymore.

And the Pats know it.  That's why they keep beefing up the run game and adding contested catch specialists like N. Harry and D. Thomas.

Was it as bad as Tyree Jackson’s drunk duck in Carolina?

Careful. Keep talking about building a strong run game and the “air it out” fans who think you can only win by throwing the ball in todays NFL will have strong words with you.

Those people clearly didn't watch the Patriots last year.

That was a run-first team all day long.

So was Seattle for that matter.

When you’re the only team allowed a 61 man game day roster, it’s no wonder.

(7 on field zebras, plus one commish.)

?

I think we all need to support Tom Brady and help him create a different tagline.

For example:

Tom the turd

Tom the irritation rash

Tom the child mouth kisser

Tom the anal leakage

Tom the post shower sh!t

I thought the same thing. It seemed like the ball was taking a long time to get there. But as stated, until my eyes show me otherwise, I expect to see them contend for the Super Bowl.

Tom Brady sits when he pees is one of my all time favorite sports related insults.

So simple yet somehow so elegant.

He tried to trademark the name because he doesn't like it and he wanted to stop people from using it.

Yeah, right.
