todd Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 This link is brought to you by Jay Rubeo: Mmmmm....plates 296315 I can't imagine that would be good. And upscale plate? $15? I think the chef is missing the point.
AiO Posted April 5, 2005 Author Posted April 5, 2005 I can't imagine that would be good. And upscale plate? $15? I think the chef is missing the point. I couldn't get past the elk and bison.
rockpile Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 I can't imagine that would be good. And upscale plate? $15? I think the chef is missing the point. 296365 Yeah, the piont is you can get about three plates at Nick's for that price! If he is going French, how about Le Poseur Plate ?
Alaska Darin Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 That sounds awesome. For those of you who haven't had it, bison is probably the best meat on the planet. It's leaner than turkey and very flavorful. $16 sounds a bit pricy but I'd try it - especially if I was there on business.
elcrusho Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Hey I'm gonna goto Nicks and get the Garbage plate...
stuckincincy Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Elk's good, too. In Europe they are raised on farms and given the best of feed.

AiO Posted April 5, 2005 Author Posted April 5, 2005 Elk's good, too. Sorry, I live in Ohio. No class.

Gavin in Va Beach Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Bison is good stuff. 296417 Ostrich ain't bad either...
Alaska Darin Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Bison is good stuff. 296417 I've often wondered why it hasn't overtaken beef. You can certainly get more meat out of one bison than one angus and its ALOT better for you. Do you think they are just more expensive to raise?
KRC Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Ostrich ain't bad either... 296420 You are correct. They make good burgers.
Alaska Darin Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Ostrich ain't bad either... 296420 As tasty as it is ugly.

Do you think they are just more expensive to raise? 296422 Probably, but I do not know. People do not handle change very well. Oh well. More for us.
Alaska Darin Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Probably, but I do not know. People do not handle change very well. Oh well. More for us. 296427 Yeah, but if there was more demand there'd be more supply and it would be cheaper. It's about the ducketts.
KRC Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Yeah, but if there was more demand there'd be more supply and it would be cheaper. It's about the ducketts. 296434 As long as there is enough supply to handle the demand. Otherwise, the prices go up.
Fezmid Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 It's about the ducketts. 296434 Where did that word come from? I never heard of it before until playing GTA:SA. Now I see it pretty frequently. Anyone know the origin? I agree that Bison and Ostrich are great CW
