Still, anticipation and expectations are at an all time post ‘99 high. What happens if our record is worse than last year? How far has ESPN fallen? They are thinking back to the last decade of Ralph running the team with the coach gone 3 years or less after he was hired. That aside Buffalo is so unimportant to ESPN that they never looked past a quick Wiki of the team's coaching history. Sloppy reporting/analysis. 6
JerseyBills Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 I'm not clicking that link. If you are writing for the NFL and have that opinion , is absolutely awful and the writer should be humiliated. That couldn't be further from the truth. Not a chance in HeLl that McD goes anywhere. 1
ddaryl Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 well it says if the Bills end up with a 4 - 12 season he has a 73% chance of being fired. not much really being said here
GoBills808 Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Tell whoever Brian Burke is to put his $$$ where his mouth is, I'll take as much action as he wants on McD being 73% getting fired. I can get +3500 right now. 6

Augie Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 When you take ESPN and add math, you get something worse than Lima beans. No thank you. 1 5
Buffaloflash Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Lazy Writer, must have mailed this story in from the beach!
judman Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 (edited) ESPN is terrible. I watched some 49ers/Broncos last night (simply because football was on). Booger is tough to listen to. Edited August 20, 2019 by judman
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 The ESPN Brain Trust responsible for Bills content= 4

There would be no excuse for it. Have to witness the scenario that plays out before I could make that call. I mean if we lost half our OL and both QB's to freak injuries then no. But if the wheels came off and we looked dysfunctional then yes 3
Augie Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 What are the odds of Belichick getting fired if he goes 0-16? Would you rather be eaten by a shark or a bear? The world is full of important questions like this. Thankfully, we have ESPN to turn to for answers! 3 2
CBD Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 (edited) If they go 4-12 no one here thinks it should be a consideration? Edited August 20, 2019 by CBD 1
BillsfaninChicago Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Yeesh maybe they should go back to talking about politics because sports really isn’t their thing either. 3

Dear God is he terrible. I remember his story about pissing himself as a player because it made guys not want to touch you on the field. Awkward TV moment with the rest of the set for sure. Not to mention he's dumb as a box of rocks.
MDH Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Did any of you guys actually read what was linked? It doesn’t seem like it. “Burke used analytics to project the fate for every coach if their team went 4-12.” That was the basis of the article. Not exactly a think piece or good journalism but it defiantly wasn’t stating that McD has a 73% chance of being fired. Don’t let that get in the way of taking your torches and pitchforks up to ESPN castle though. 4 1
Mat68 Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 If Allen looks terrible and the team implodes? Probably. If Buffalo makes the playoffs and beats out NE for the AFCE he is also coach of the year.
