Nick the Greek Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Crush some skulls? It’s good rhetoric, but can the kid actually play. That’s the question.
BringBackFergy Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 I’ve always been a fan of his. I remember saying how much I thought he’d be a good fit here. Glad we brought him over. Once again, dead on analysis by me. 1 1

That’s the question. crushing skulls is nothing to diminish at his position. he is too raw to make the 53 even if Morse cannot earn his contract. Feliciano and Long are ahead of him most likely. But i am happy to wish the kid well and hope Bills can keep him on PS. or at least speed dial. he will improve his game . all in good time

So the odds are in there favor, especially if you add it up over 5-10 years The draft used to be 10-12 rounds and good football players haven't disappeared... The 8-12th rounders became priority UDFAs I’m aware the draft was more rounds in the past. Yes, these UDFAs would likely have been drafted if they played during that era. Those first and second round picks tend to stick on rosters as they are more talented and due to the teams investment in them. It’s still interesting, as it not only illustrates the slight difference in talent level of low round picks vs UDFA’s, but shows that teams are looking to stock rosters with cheaper players. Those veteran minimums are often a deciding factor, and undrafted players may have a better shot than many people realize.

The percentage of starters who were undrafted is much lower. A bit aged, but some interesting stats for you. https://www.catscratchreader.com/2018/5/22/17378036/nfl-undrafted-free-agents-play-more-often-than-you-probably-think

Well, in 51 snaps, he didn’t fire the ball over the QBs head or miss the count while everyone else moved. So he’s already better than Long.. 6 hours ago, inaugural balls said: Mister Bates?
