For those who are fans of John Henry Bonham...

 

Go to about 12:20 in this video, and get ready.  

 

The playing from 12:27 to about 12:31 might be my favorite recorded Bonzo moment on film.  

 

This entire concert recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in 1969 represents Zeppelin at the height of their powers IMO.

Coda is an excellent album.

 

The heavy version of I Can't Quit You Babe is phenomenal.  Recorded on Page's birthday.

 

Bonzo's Montreaux is a wonderful piece.

 

There are so many of his drum tracks that you can dissect and realize how amazing he really was.

Love that you picked out 4 seconds of devastation.

 

For me it's also about the fills that everyone knows even if they don't realize it.  I'll throw out the opening to Misty Mountain Hop as one of many examples.
