MR8 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Good! Makes playing them week 1 look that much more satisfying!
billsbackto81 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 (edited) I'd rather he plays. He's already been paid a boatload and was torched constantly last season. Their secondary is suspect. Daniel Jones had a field day on them last week. He's not very good IMO. Edited August 12, 2019 by billsbackto81
whatdrought Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I feel like this might actually help them... he was terrible last year.
Doc Brown Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I'm sure Gregg Williams wouldn't play him if it hurts the team. He knows what he's doing given his high demand with all the jobs he's turned down. 2
eball Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Not to worry, Greggggggg Williams shall WILL them to victory!
Johnny Hammersticks Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I want the Jets full strength. No excuses after we kick their ***** into the dirt.
Romie Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I feel bad for Darnold. He's going to throw 4 picks trying to catch up with us. This might possibly ruin his confidence for the rest of his career.
SCBills Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Week 1 is reason enough to run 4 wide in preseason. Like us, they should have an improved offense and talented Front 7, but that secondary of theirs is a mess.
Malazan Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 He's unlikely to miss week 1. He's bad so we should hope he plays.
GunnerBill Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 He is not as bad as some here are suggesting. I think he is a good corner and his best years were in Greggo's defense. Him being out would be a big boost for the Bills because they are very thin behind him.

I honestly would not take the jets defense for granted at all.....especially early. I cannot stand Greg Williams but one thing he knows how to do is get his teams to play dirty. Need to run the ball A LOT.....and put in good protections for Josh 1

scribo Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Over and under on passing yards against the NJ Jests?
Kirby Jackson Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I may be in the minority but think that Josh is potentially a problem for Gregg Williams defense. If he evades the inevitable rush he is going to make some big plays with his arm and legs. At this point in his career I think that the type of defense Josh would struggle most with would be similar to the Bills. They are disciplined and often have 7 guys in coverage. The Jets are going to be coming from everywhere and if Josh steps up he might be running for days.

C.Biscuit97 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 (edited) Being happy for other teams is both bad karma and a loser’s mentality. 42 minutes ago, scribo said: Over and under on passing yards against the NJ Jests?
