One thing you might consider is adding an actual computer to the TV--making it much more powerful than simply a "smart TV" that can connect to the net.

I have one of these ( https://www.tomsguide.com/us/lenovo-thinkcentre-m710q-tiny,review-5501.html  )  mounted behind my TV and I love it--I can stream, surf, store music and video and run actual programs.  Add a wireless keyboard and its so much more than a TV...

If you're into gaming, you could spend a bit more and get one of these:   https://www.pcworld.com/article/3267074/intel-hades-canyon-nuc-nuc8i7hvk-review.html

Damn thanks. I want to upgrade on the egg. Know anyone who wants an overly used Green Egg.

Wired Ethernet > WiFi

If you do any gaming or download alot of stuff, run CAT6 behind your TV or to your PC.

For streaming TV, WiFi works for now.  a 720 or 1080 resolution stream won't have any problem on WiFi provided you have a strong signal.  But when 4k and 8k streams become a thing, they're going to eat up alot more bandwidth

It’s not the size of the egg as much as the heat it produces.

Plenz said it above, get the biggest TV you can afford. When we moved last December, we looked at 55" and 65", and the price difference wasn't that much, so we went with a 65". Do not regret it at all.

I believe this is the one we got...

I wanted a Roku TV since I already had Roku units for our other TV's. And I'm not the type to rush out and buy something new just because it's newer. Hell, I kept a 27" tube TV as my primary TV for almost 20 years.

I did opt for the 5 year service contract because I'd read online that Sharp is made by TCL, and many users of TCL reported their screen having issues or dying after the one year warranty ran out.
