mushypeaches Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 If Barkley goes down this year, it seems unlikely that Jackson would be elevated to #2. What Veteran QB sitting at home currently or maybe cut do you think they would bring in? thumbs down to the first smart guy that responds “Kyle Orton”
aristocrat Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Doesn’t matter Allen needs to play all 19 games this year 7 1 10 1

Another Fan Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Possibly Elisha if the Giants don't start off that hot?
Ol Dirty B Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 (edited) Don't most teams face this risk? Quality starting QBs are scarce, let alone back ups. Edited August 5, 2019 by Ol Dirty B 5
JPP Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Lets bring back some more Thad "Flippin" Lewis!! I can deal with that.... 1

Bangarang Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 What if Vlad Ducasse gets hurt? I’m very concerned now. 2
C.Biscuit97 Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Has any team ever asked what happens if Matt Barkley hurts? He’s a nice guy and I’m sure he helps Allen but he is the definition of replacement level. 2

Well, for a team that trotted out 4 guys last year, I think it’s a fair discussion topic to wonder who Beane might have on speed dial. yes, the season is likely over if Allen gets hurt, but I’d like to have a viable guy who could step in and win games outside of Barkley
Steve Billieve Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I'm more worried about my grandma. She's 97 and I'm not sure she'd recover. 1

Kirby Jackson Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 My guesses (in no particular order): - Try to convince McCown to comeback out of retirement. - Brock - Weeden - Landry Jones - Matt Cassel
