rayray808 Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Yes, the O-line is injured. Yes, our D-line is good. But what would be the moment where we begin to show genuine concern about Josh Allen? PS - I love Josh Allen, a lot... but I have a buddy who is a glass half empty kind of guy and wanted to explore his perspective 1
Saxum Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 0 - the board gets concerned before he practices. It thinks Chicken Little was an realist.

NoHuddleKelly12 Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I was expecting this type of hot take thread to wait until our first L in the regular season. <sigh>. Anyway, I refer you to @HappyDays‘ post about how practice REALLY went today for Allen, with good context. Carry on. 1
Augie Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I’m not sold yet, but can we play some football before ridiculous reactions? 2
Boatdrinks Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Practices ? None. I’ve seen too many Bills QBs over the years that had a “ great practice “ time and again, but stunk in games. Certainly enough to know it doesn’t mean squat. If Josh Allen is consistently bad after about 8 games, I’ll be right there on the worry train. Not now.
SCBills Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 5.5 practices. If he isn’t killin it halfway through that sixth practice, I’m done. DONE. 2

Maybe Someday Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Considering that he's a 2nd year QB that should still be considered pretty raw, it's way too early to be concerned. I think we'll have a decent understanding of the type of player that he'll be by midseason or so. 2
Chandler#81 Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 This is a ‘practice thread’. The type of thread we allow noobs and school kids to offer in the off season. Those of us who know football, take the time to break down the OP’s inquiry, assure they understand the answers, then give them milk & cookies and tuck them in. But it’s IN SEASON now. Ask your Dad. 1 6
