For some reason, I’m thinking our team going to 4 Superbowls is clouding your opinion. Was Kent Hull more valuable to our team? Biscuit? It’s not the Hall of Very Good. “Fame” is the idea.

So much truth to this.

I asked a question. And any troll could use your defense. Pretty clearly an unpopular opinion and it was left with zero explanation.

Unpopular does not make his opinion less valid nor than yours nor any less accurate.

No. Trolling is intentionally making inflammatory remarks with the goal of ticking people off.

What we have here is a culture of flaming anyone who disagrees with the majority.

At least you didn't get suspended.  If you have a contrarian opinion on here the mods will suspend you and claim you are a troll.  Even if you have hundreds of posts.

Keep stating your opinion and just be courteous.

ST is not 1/3 of the game. The average NFL game has between 135 and 170 plays per game. How many of those are ST plays? 15 or 20 maybe?  So, maybe 10%.

Of those 15 to 20, 6-8 are usually XP's and another 6-8 are touchbacks.  So it's even far less than 10% of the game.  The only thing that matters on special teams is directional punting, FG accuracy, and not committing penalties.  Returns and coverage units are mostly meaningless in today's game.  And blocked kicks are the rarest of events and probably more about a blown assignment than rush ability.
