Augie Posted August 1, 2019 Share Posted August 1, 2019 I caught a giant tarpon once. I wanted to quit, but he just kept going! I was rooting for him to get off the hook. My arms were burning, and my boys who both benched in the 400# area wanted in. I couldn’t give it to one, and not the other, so I kept fighting. It was grueling work! Then it JUMPED! Holy %$#&! I didn’t even want to get CLOSE to THAT MONSTER! But I kept on.....the arms burning. Searing pain! When you get it to the boat.....you let it go. It’s a tarpon. Once was enough for that nonsense.....
