Is this the reason McCoy missed practice today?  McD said they new about his absence for awhile.  I'm wondering if he had to appear in civil court to pay the $55k.

The timing seemed like too much of a coincidence to not be related

Were you treated poorly when you were arrested, or was it a close family member?

It was him.

Think his wife or GF stabbed him with a kitchen knife if I remember correctly.

He was in Philly offering the cop $55,000 in recently repossessed (slightly bloody) jewelry...

The officer got roughly a years salary out of it. Not a bad score for a lousy night out. What is this fascination with Athletes when they are trying to just have a night out. Some fans are all over them like a cheap suit. Get a life!

Except that's not what happened.  The cops were giving away one of their 4 bottles of champagne to some ladies and McCoy's boy took it.

McCoy's claim of "self defense" (what he calls kicking a guy on the ground) was "absolutely untrue", per the arbitrator, because the tape made that fact obvious.

Porter thought it was his that the cops were giving away.  It wasn't.
