Nah Thurman you are right. He said he did a good job last year, solidified the position, and is the incumbent starter. He definitely did not say "unquestioned".

Not to be a stickler, but I don't think Frazier ever said that Levi Wallace is the "unquestioned" starter. He said that Wallace earned the starting job last season, and is currently the INCUMBENT starter. "Unquestioned" and "incumbent" are quite different. Frazier certainly didn't say "Wallace will be our starter this year for sure" or imply that in any way. He simply stated that as of this moment right now, Wallace is the starter. I think people are reading too much finality into Frazier's statement.

I wouldn’t say there was a finality to it, because he could lose the starting job. But what he said was it was his to lose. There is no competition for that starting job, so to speak, like there is at say TE1 or RG. Rob Quinn used the term “unquestioned starter” - I would have to go back and listen to see if he said that word. But his point was that he’s starting there unless he loses it by playing poorly.
