will the audience members be plants asking questions already fed to Obiden?

My guess is it probably wouldn't help him.

I remember Biden’s debate with Sarah Palin. She repeatedly called him O’Biden and he just sat there with a *****-eating grin because he was told to not be mean to her.

I thought that was a given.

The dust up over whether Bernie & Biden should debate sitting down or standing up can be resolved by allowing Tulsi Gabbard to participate in the debate and going with the Whose LIne Is It Anyway Sit/Stand/Lay Down format

It doesn't matter.  Biden's going to win Michigan big and this sucker will be over by the time the debate even happens.

This assume Biden doesn't spend the next week or with another string of dementia videos.

Even the DNC isn't stupid enough to prop him up if he keeps releasing the oatmeal in his noggin'.

Does the "bigger picture" include campaigning for someone with cognitive issues for President of the United States? One would think that if Bernie were to do that he would be putting his partisanship and/or bias ahead of his country.

The bigger picture is electing a Democrat who can replace Ginsburg on the Supreme Court and any other openings that may arise.  It's increasing environmental regulations, raising taxes back to 39.6% on the top tax income bracket to increase the social safety net, raise the minimum wage to help give raise increases to about 40 million people by the end of his first term, and push for a reduction in military spending.  Bernie's all for those things even though he wants to go farther so he will fall in line and endorse.

If you haven't noticed that the rising economy has raised wages at the lower end because of supply and demand created by that same hot economy that was in turn created by the tax cuts and elimination of silly and duplicate regulations. We don't need a weaker military like it was with Obama when we didn't have spare parts even for our equipment. Oh, and you don't want Supreme Court justices that adhere to the Constitution?

Give me a break! You’all raised my tax rate when we were in a recession because I was told I needed to ‘help out’ in a time of crisis. I didn’t complain. I paid them. Now we’re in a time of plenty and you need to raise them back up again? RAISE YOUR OWN DAMN RATES!

So the DNC & CNN dropped their request that Bernie fan Biden with ostrich feathers and hand him crib notes throughout the debate ?

At least they're not making a mockery of Bernie this primary like they did in 2016.

Should be right about time for Donna Brazil to start handing the debate questions to Uncle Joe.

....so we have our "crash test dummy".............

Sanders faces pushback over call to make coronavirus vaccine free

By Andrew O'Reilly | Fox News

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is facing pushback for his call over the weekend to make a future coronavirus vaccine free to the public, with critics noting the move would disincentivize pharmaceutical companies developing such a vaccine.

"Once a vaccine for coronavirus is developed, it should be free," the Democratic presidential candidate tweeted Sunday.

Tom Schatz, the president of Citizens Against Government Waste, called the pitch "a bad idea" and questioned how the government would be able to force a private company to hand over a vaccine free of charge.

The obvious answer is the the government will buy the vaccines and then give them away like they do everything else they do that's "free".  And they will pay twice as much.  Plenty of motivation to develop a vaccine to sell to feds for twice what they would normally get.

Development will not start until the check is cut.  Nobody is spending 100's of millions without a firm commitment namely payment to at least the extent of covering the company's cost in doing so.

Yes, that's true but the dems still complain when people get taken off food stamps, not because the government is mean but because their circumstances have improved with the economic improvement.

Bad for Biden imo

.

I'm afraid that no audience opens the door for shenanigans by those involved.  If Bernie had really wanted this he would have come after Biden much much much harder than he did.  Would Bernie lay down or not call attention to cue cards for Biden if another lavish property was promised to him?

So... a CNN personality will have to ask all of the questions that CNN wrote for the audience to ask?
