Charles Romes Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 (edited) I keep waiting for Tre or Micah’s name to be called but it’s looking more and more like a total snub. Edited July 29, 2019 by Charles Romes
Kirby Jackson Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Eh, I’m not too worried about that nonsense. It’s a popularity contest. The Bills have a few guys that are in the “real” top 100 players. They don’t have a bunch of guys in the top 30 but their talent is ascending. 1
CNY315 Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 (edited) I thought Tre would get on there at least Edited July 29, 2019 by CNY315
Boatdrinks Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Just silly NFLN hype. The Bills are afterthought in every aspect with their coverage. Doesn’t mean a thing.

whatdrought Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 They had Larry Fitzgerald and AJ Green in the 50’s while Carson Wentz was 96.
MJS Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Tre had a bit of a down year. I don't expect any Bills players to be on there.
machine gun kelly Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Who cares what those buffoons think? I never think about those stupid lists or power rankings. Just like when all of s were younger. Let you’re play on the field do the talking. 1
Stank_Nasty Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 I’m surprised so many people in this thread don’t understand that it’s not the media or NFL network making the list and that it’s actually the players that are voting on this. 3
ProcessYaDigg Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 This is the players who are ranking each other. Just like high school, it's a popularity contest. stop reading too much into this. these lists are bogus and we all know that you need to start seeing more Ws to get respect.

Players vote for all-star games too. It’s the same type of popularity contest. They vote for their friends and on reputation. Also, a very, very small percentage of players actually vote. 1

It is unfair for sure. Micah Hyde is a seriously good player. It is almost like a clique as far as voting. If the Bills make the playoffs then he gets consideration. Opponents sure as heck know who he is.

I agree that the Bills have guys that could be in there. It’s only something like 10% of the league that votes though so it isn’t indicative of everyone. As an example if 22% of the AFC West votes and 6% of the AFC East the guys out West are more likely to be selected because the players are more familiar with them. EDIT: 1,098 players submitted ballots this year. That’s way higher than in previous years (65% of the league). Edited August 1, 2019 by Kirby Jackson

Again, the list is silly NFLN hype. I’d say most are aware it’s a player vote, ( so is the pro bowl, in part) but that often becomes a popularity contest. Players vote for their friends, those in contract years etc. The Bills are an afterthought on that network, and around the league in many ways. Bottom line, the list doesn’t mean much.
