Battle of priorities for NFL franchises - do you provide ease of entry/exit or have more space for concessions/merch for the premium seats?   New Era concourses for the lower bowl are substandard relative to other NFL stadiums.   To build that concession space when the lower bowl is underground would add much more in construction costs.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh thinks a full year of preparing quarterback Lamar Jackson to do his thing will result in a whole new world of offensive football.

Told on NFL Network that his predecessor as Ravens coach, Brian Billick, expects the Ravens’ offense to look unlike any ever seen before in the NFL, Harbaugh said Billick is right.

 

“I would kind of agree with that, I really do,” Harbaugh said.

Devil’s advocate: Allen played similarly and Jackson played on a playoff team.  I do think Allen looks more of natural qb but without his rushing, his season would have been pretty awful.  Both guys need to become much better passers.

Allen ran out of necessity (not designed run) 

 

Jackson ran because that was his game plan.

I generally agree but 52%, 10 tds, 14 ints, 173 passing yards/ game, and a 67.9 QBs rating doesn’t scream great passer.  Hopefully with better protection and receivers, this will improve.  I do think some fans live in glasses houses.  

 

I do think the real interesting thing will be how both of these guys are coached against.  I imagine they will both get spies, take contain pass rushes, and be forced to take shorter stuff.

I've been to 3 games in their stadium.  The 1st time I was in the upper deck, the last 2 times I got seats in the lowest level because getting to the upper deck in that stadium is the worst hike I've ever had in any stadium.  I remember seeing an older overweight woman on the stairs to the upper deck and I thought she was going to die trying to get up the stairs.  It's no surprise that they're having trouble unloading those upper deck seats.  

 

This reminds me of a trip we took in the NC mountains. There was a trail we paid to take around a mountain with some great views. I was younger and in pretty good shape, but it was challenging. About 90% of the trail behind us, we come upon an older couple who were seriously overweight. They were exhausted....and they had a problem. The trail lead between the mountain and a giant boulder creating what was in effect a small doorway. There was NO WAY around it, and they didn’t fit through the opening. They were going to have to go ALL THE WAY back. 

 

I still wonder if they made it! It is inexcusable that there wasn’t some sort of size test/warning before you began that hike! At the very least, it should have been one way (the other way!) so you got to the “test” before you were completely exhausted and didn’t have the long route back.

One was based on Pressure the other was designed in the gameplan, hell Jackson admitted as much

70k tickets were held by about 20-25k 'accounts'.

 

Sooo   that is indicating that  20-25k 'accounts' purchase 99.74 % of the tickets

The “at home experience” gets better every year, and the attention span of the younger generations gets shorter and shorter. I think this factors in to overall ticket sales.

 

The good thing for the NFL is there’s only 8 reg season home games to sell. I think MLB will be affected the most in the long run, too many games and a relatively slow moving sport.
