Very odd. But I would expect him to get a call from the NYG

Maybe the Giants wanted one of our young guys and it opened a roster spot.

Weird...

I don't know that it makes a ton of sense really...

I think it does. He's turned into a pretty damn good receiver late in his career playing on some really bad teams. I think he gives us a bona-fide red zone threat where we've really struggled for a lot of years, and probably could be had very cheaply.

Who would you trade that would be worth more to them than he is to us.

I'd give em Zay for a 4th, but that's about it.

Zay is worth more than a 4th

Maybe based on projection, but not on Production.

The most prolific WR in NFL history went for a 3 and a 5. Psychosis aside, Zay isn't worth a quarter of AB.

AB went for that because Pitt didnt have the option of saying no.

Why does anyone follow athletes/celebrities on twitter?  Useless is an understatement.

A better question...why does anyone use twitter period?

Yeah, but so far Zay is a decent, not great WR. He has potential, but people rarely pay for potential. We may get a 3rd for him in a trade.

And that would be why he isnt on the block.

Stevie is only effective if QB can anticipate the adjustments he will make to get to the spot.  This means only team which should be looking at him is the Phish.

What you say is true.  When you factor in his age and the fact that he behaves like a two year old, I understand his cost only being a 3 and a 5.  Every year there are some training camp cuts that are decent players that are picked off waivers by needy teams.  Given that, getting a 4 for a guy like Zay with limited production may be a bit of a stretch.

I was an NSA codebreaker back in the 90’s so I’ll take a crack at this one:

”Starting WR’s. (Stop). Brown (Stop). Beasley. (Stop). Jones. (Stop). Isaac McKittrick. (Stop). Foster. (Stop). All the rest should be traded to Carolina for Chris Hogan. (Stop). Hogan to CB. (Stop). Speed and shifty hips. (Stop). Destroy this message. More directions to follow. “
