On paper PLAYERS can look better as individuals, and not play well as a team. What was Marones record early in 2017 before the Jaguars hired Tom Coughlin? .500 (and with a top 5 defense) What was Marones record this past 2018 season? 5 and 11 Now they have signed Nick Foles to "save" the franchise. If Foles fails, I expect Marrone to get fired. thats the SAD part. -- Tyrod Freaking Taylor was out played by Bortles Slightly.... but that is nothing to write home about. Defense was the difference in that game. The Bills gave up a TD on the goal line. The Jags didn’t

sullim4 Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 To me, the big difference is Adam Gase. He strikes me as a Greggo-type of coach - he's got a big ego and won't be able to rally the troops through tough times. He's a good coordinator but a poor head coach. I think he'll be the main reason why the Jets implode. 1

If the 2nd scenario includes Allen and the Bills winning a (or more) Super Bowls...then I don't care if Darnold becomes the best QB of all time...we already have that in this division with Brady. If the Bills win Super Bowl nothing else matters.

He made that one pass that beat the Bills after Allen outplayed for most of that game we lost last season. That said I think Allen has more upside than Darnold based on what I saw last year. Give me the Bills and Allen all day
Chuck Wagon Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I lost my fantasy football playoffs because an injured DeAndre Hopkins went for 10-170-2 against the Jets. They didn't address corner in the offseason. That's all I have to say about the offseason hype on the Jets.
krf139 Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 We have a "process" that we need to trust. Can't wait until we are 2-4, the Jets 5-1, and we hear about the "process."
