Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 It’s outrageous, egregious, preposterous! (He’ll end up with an NFL hoodie and a can coozie...) 1 5
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 (edited) If ever any fan base had a case for pain and suffering billy b has been tormenting us since super bowl 25. It’s gotta be second degree harassment or something. Edited July 19, 2019 by Over 29 years of fanhood

IslandBillsFan Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 I know it says in the article but I don't know what exactly he is suing for. It reminds me of some millennial kid not getting their way and crying about it. Except this guy is an adult and wants to go the legal way. Big baby in my opinion.

billsfan1959 Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 I've always been an avid fan of my teams and, like all fans, have experienced my share of misery over bad calls (in the crease goals, forward pass laterals, etc.); however, in the end, it is all about a game. Leave the courts to spend their time on real issues. 2 1 1
Mrbojanglezs Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Goodell will settle out of court and this guy will get a quick payday

Dopey Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Is there a way for the NFL to ask for attorney fees when this guy loses? 1

It’s always a weird balance between the two. If the titans tossed the ball 8 yards forward and it was the AFCCG I suspect the reaction would be different. It just wasn’t even in the proximity of a borderline call.

It just wasn’t even in the proximity of a borderline call. I agree the call wasn't even close and, for the individual teams and the NFL as a whole, it is a multi-billion dollar industry. I'm not sure I would support the suit if it was filed by the team, even if legally justified, because, once that precedent is set, where does it end? I prefer the game stay on the field. However, for the fans, it is still a game and I certainly do not support any suit of this nature brought by a fan. 1

BarleyNY Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 I think it’s only fair that the results of the last Super Bowl be stricken from the record. The Saints can go play the Pats. This Sunday. In New Orleans.
