I have a 16 Tahoe..condenser just went and my mechanic said looks like a Service Bulletin on these things, all of the originals going bad. Call GMC dealer, and sure as hell there is , and would be covered , but only first of 5 years or 60K. Mine has 75K..so $1000 it is!!!!

I leased a Durango in 2002 - 2004 and I brought that thing in for air conditioning work at least once a year.  (2, 3 & 4)

they could not find the leak in the hoses, compressor and or condenser

One lease I didn't even thing to purchase after 3 years

GM SUV's are known to have poor A/C reliability. Sorry for your loss.

I managed 245k on my CR-V for the compressor/condenser before it grenaded.

i had a 2007 Yukon..225K miles..that AC was always the best!!!! Oh well, bought this one used..for the difference in price between buying new and buying 18 months old I just need to eat some of these repairs but still feel i am way ahead
