theNose76 Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 For some reason the game is not on here in Rochester. It is listed as there in TV Guide but on the channel that is ESPN2 instead ESPNEWS is on. They are also showing highlights every few minutes or so, for updates, which makes no sense here since the game should be on. Is there some strange type of blackout rule where if the game sells out (as I assume this one did), a city 400 miles away cannot watch it on TV?? I am not a very big baseball fan, but there is really nothing else I feel like doing. Does anyone know what's up??

The Tomcat Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 I missed the 1st inning....PO'd because it wasn't on ESPN2 and found it on YES.....THANK YOU JESUS!!!
rockpile Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 It is on in Rochester on ESPN2 on Dish Network. I guess it is on YES on cable.
Wraith Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Thanks, this will mark the first time I knew that YES was on in Rochester. 294837[/snapback] YES has been on in Rochester since it's inception. Great coverage if you're a Yankee fan, which I am (Go TINO!), not as great if you're rooting for, say, the Red Sox.
