“Wolves: Friends or Foe? A Solution to the Hyper Abundance of Moose in Cape Breton Highlands National Park”
Presenter: Brady Doucette
With the reintroduction of Moose in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park their population has grown to a point where it is approximately four times as dense as the area can successfully support with a significant loss of the Park’s boreal forest. Reintroduced wolves could assist in population control for moose and have positive effects on watershed health by allowing for regeneration of riparian forests. The economically significant salmon fishery would benefit but local fears about the reintroduction of a predatory species have to be considered.

So these two Canadians are sitting around in Cape Breton Highlands National Park, with nothing to do but drink Molson...Guy#1 says to Guy #2, “Wanna play 20 Questions?”

Guy #2 says, “OK”, but the first thing that pops into his mind is moose c#*k.

So Guy #1 says, “Are you ready?  Are you thinking of something?”

Guy #2 - “Yeah, I’m ready...go ahead,”

Guy #1 - “OK, is it something good to eat?”

Guy #2 chuckles and answers, “Yeah, I guess you could eat it...”

Guy #1 - “Is it a moose c#*k?”

You into moose porn?  Your hobbies are disgusting.

We took our kids to the zoo one time and were talking about the big male Gorilla named Zeke while they waited for dinner. We had hoped to see them eat. Well, Zeke decided to get a little action right near the fence before the food showed up. We had an awkward moment with the kiddies.  ?

Huh, I guess that stuck with you a while. Maybe seek therapy if you became sensitive about that topic? We can’t all be hung like Secretariat.

True there! Life throws a lot of funny little memories at you. Hopefully more good than bad. But I think the mind tends to weed out, or at least water down, a lot of the bad. That’s a very good thing.

That's a standing punchline at a camping/drinking weekend I've been attending for over 25 years and it was around long before I started attending ?
