I know nothing, I’m just repeating what I’ve heard.... from Coast Guard folks.

Before Article 10 powers were activated for USCG. AOC will do away with Department of Homeland and make USCG DoT again! MUSCGGA! AND the USACE deals with has the most daily interactions with the general public. It's the oldest in the Military too... Formed a day before @ the Battle of Bunker Hill, 6/16/1775. Law enforcement is for chumps, over officious jerks. Many other ways to get people to comply to laws than being an over officious jerk! /newbs

Expand I'm certain SEAL and other special forces training is much more rigorous physically, and landing on an aircraft carrier is pretty challenging and incredibly intense. Kudos to the coasties though. that was a good get. 1
