H2o Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Jackson is dumb as a box of rocks. For God's sake he didn't realize that a new coordinator meant a new offense. Great athlete, never going to be a great QB. I would be surprised if he's still the starter in Baltimore by the end of his rookie deal. 1
TigerJ Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 I don't hate Lamar Jackson, but Josh Allen has so much more than Jackson in the way of tools to be a great QB, comparing the two is just silly.

JA has had a low completion percentage and maybe always will. He might also bump it up a few percentage points and win games. Probably to fall back on reasons to boast we got the right quarterback even if we do poorly. Basically feels like a big motivation on the board this offseason.. proving who drafted the right quarterback in 2018. Josh Allen's a gamer. I can see it, I think we all do. We get the right team around him he can win a lot of games in his career. But I'm not sure his full impact is going to show up the box score every Sunday and it's going to drive people crazy trying to tangibly prove he is better than Darnold, Rosen, Jackson, and co. I think Beane likes prototypes in terms of size and Lamar isn’t that. If he wanted LJ he woulda just kept Tyrod. Very similar QBs. And I think Tyrod is the better passer and overall QB
