Eric Wood did exactly the same thing in about the same time.

 

In a few months he was down to 260 and looking nothing like he did at his playing weight of 305 or whatever.

 

For a lot of these guys, pumping up to a number is full time job.  The moment they stop working at that, they lose weight.
