They’ll probably be given a comp pick for having the trade fall through.

Yup, a first rounder.......

I wonder sometimes if a team would ever have someone in and during a physical if they see something small that they will tell that player we are going to fail your physical, and if your team cuts you, we will sign you immediately. I wonder if the Lions would have the ability to dispute the other teams failed physical? So if the Pats fail a guys physical that they just traded for, the Lions could come back and dispute the report and have him checked out by a third party?

You would think the NFL would have a third party doctor working for them to do the physicals for deals instead of the teams doctors.

Less than a week after being waived by the Detroit Lions following a voided trade with the New England Patriots, the tight end was released Wednesday by the Green Bay Packers after failing a physical.

He's been trying to hide the fact that he has a wooden leg. But team doctor's are starting to suspect...
