MikeSpeed Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 (edited) Zay Jones. Rumor has it he won't make the 53. I'm pretty confident he will. Sorry was that beating a dead horse? Edited June 6, 2019 by MikeSpeed 1

Rocky Landing Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I think the Bills will carry four RBs, and Senorise Perry makes the 53. They're going to take special teams very seriously this season, and Perry will be a core contributor. But, I also think we may see him on the field for some short yard situations. But, here's an even darker horse: Christian Wade. I believe he will transition to the NFL, and I believe he will be a great RB. I certainly don't think he will make the 53 in September, but he will be on the practice squad, as he will have his own additional open spot, per the International Player Pathway Program. And, if we end up going down a running back in the regular season (not unlikely), we could absolutely see him on the field later in the season. Watch the guy's game tape playing rugby. He's incredibly strong, shifty, and has exceptional acceleration. I can't wait to see what he can do with pads on.
Pete Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Ray Ray. Man if I am correct, who gets cut? WR is a fascinating camp battle. lets say Ray Ray, Smokey, Beasley, Foster make opening day roster- that’s 4 spots out of probably 6, no more than 7. That leaves Zay, Roberts, Duke, Sills, Bolden jr, Mckenzie, Phillips, Scott to battle for 2 or 3 spots! My backup pick is Senorise Perry. Our special teams was shoddy last season. We can use Perry’s ST skills
hondo in seattle Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Eli Harold. Was drafted in the 3rd round by the 9ers in 2015 when he was just 21 years. He has done little since, though he did have 4 sacks and 4 hurries playing just 19% of the snaps for the Lions last year. Has played mostly as a 3-4 OLB in the NFL but the Bills will use him as a 4-3 DE which might be more natural for him. 2

I think TJ Yeldon will be gone and Perry will stay. 1
ColdFront_USAF Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I like Duke Williams. I know most people are on the Sills V hype train, and I'd be perfectly happy to see the kid make the team, but don't forget how dominant Williams was in the CFL. If he can keep focused on ball and stay out of trouble, he has the ability to be elite.
BurpleBull Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Mike Love. He can do what Shaq Lawson can do versus the run and I think he has more pass rush potential; I could see Shaq Lawson being part of a trade. Love was one of my picks to survive roster cuts in 'GunnerBill's Roster Thread' for 2018...I choose him as a "long shot", only because he's likely an afterthought to most fans.

They brought Roberts in as a return specialist-- he may not see a single offensive snap in most games. And Zay had more targets, and receptions than any other WR on the team, right up to the final game vs. Miami. I have to believe that Brown, Beasley, Roberts, Jones, and Foster are closest to locks. After that, the competition for the final roster spots will have to include their performance on special teams for them to have a chance.

Ol Dirty B Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I like the Sills and Johnson picks. If Johnson sticks around I can see him really becoming a Buffalo guy from how I know he was at the U. Played through injuries, good leader. If he makes it here and the city embraces him as I think he would I can see him really being a Buffalo guy. I'm speaking in cliches I hate, but it's honestly what I think.

If he is playing D line. I might guess he is a pass rusher. so i was making a poor joke about Rex Ryan's exotic defenses . lol Do not follow college ball and know near nothing of the fellow.

I don't really know anything about him, either. But, he did get four sacks last season with Detroit without any game starts. Not bad for a non-starter, I suppose.
Rico Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 My dark horse is someone who’s not on the team yet will be picked up for the WR group... joining Foster, Brown, Zay, Beasley, and Roberts.
