I saw him open for George Carlin in Buffalo in the early 80’s.  I thought he was in his 60’s back then.  His official website listed his age at 129?.  Never knew he was living in such close proximity to me.

I could have sworn he had a big single in the 70s, but I kept looking for it today, and came up with nothing...........I have no idea how I even knew him, and what he sounded like.  I sure don't have his albums.

He did Budweiser or Miller ads back in the 80's.  That's how I got to know about him

He was heard more often on album rock formats, if I recall correctly.  Didn’t he do the ‘Mr. Belvedere’ theme?

I never watched that show, so that would definitely not be how I knew him.
