If it's the same foot, that's probably not good news.

McD confirmed its same foot in press conference just now

Okay, real talk though... I get ACL's and Hammys getting messed up in these type of no-contact things, but how do you break a bone?

I broke one of toes once getting kicked . Foot bones break easily

Foot breaks can be lingering. It’s the part of the body with the least blood flow.

Well, yeah, since they invented THAT pill...

As an Irishman, feel comfortable posting this.

Tommy Sweeney's reaction on hearing the news (as he is most similar player to Kroft):

If it isn’t bad it should be camp ready right?

10 mins ago - Kroft (foot) will be sidelined for 3-to-4 months following surgery, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. ... all of training camp and potentially the start of the regular season.

I'm having a hard time seeing how you got your screenname.

Anyway...Sounds like a 3-4 month recovery window. Probably will start season on PUP list, will resume play around week 4.

Honestly, though, not having your presumed starting TE for all of training camp is not a tenable situation. Beane should be on the phone to Minnesota and get Rudolph in here ASAP.

Likewise brother.

Anyways, you seem to agree with me but aren't happy that I'm being blunt and *gasp* criticizing McBeane. The horror!

Oh well. I honestly don't care that much. We have a lot of TEs and Kroft isn't special. If he's the only major injury of OTAs I'm fine with that

I like what Beane is doing but I found the signing of the injury prone Kroft puzzling.

Not a big deal money-wise.  Almost all of his gtd money was in year 1, so he can be released next offseason with very little cap impact.
