Gugny Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 My opinion is "no." And I will also opine that this latest "chance," is not deserved. 7
RoyBatty is alive Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 No. Kelly has marginal talent as it is without al his other issues. This sure looks like a Frank Reich gift to his friend but that wont extend into the real playing season. 3

Buffalo Boy Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 No Frankly, it’s sad to watch someone who could have the world by the cajones repeatedly “ stupid” it all away.
freddyjj Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 I like Jacoby Brissett. Sounds like Frank doing Jimbo a favor that's all. 2
YoloinOhio Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 30 years from now people will still be saying “I hope he gets it together, just needs another chance!” 2
Koko78 Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 He has pissed away numerous chances. I can honestly say that, while I bear the kid no ill will, I really could not care less whether he succeeds or fails in the NFL. He has made his bed, and has repeatedly shown that he doesn't get it. 1 1

Kirby Jackson Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 He won’t make it because the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. If you are ALWAYS going to be in trouble you better have Josh Gordon’s talent. No one is going to keep a 3rd QB around that is as likely to be in jail as he is to be on the field. 2
JESSEFEFFER Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 This is the United States of America, founded on people needing and seeking a new chance. He did well at Ol' Miss and their fans seem to wish him well and he did well in Denver to rehab knee and wrist surgeries and work he way to #2 on their depth chart. Then the Halloween thing happened and he crashed and burned again. He has "Fear None" tatooed on his arm and, while this may work for him on the field, he should really fear himself and the the poor judgement he has shown when challenged off it. I am rooting for him to make the most of his considerable talent and reward those that continue to believe in him. I think his arm talent and playing style make him interesting as a QB as do the local connection and well documented history of screwups, which as far as we know, have never caused harm to anyone other than himself. I hope he has sought some counseling because I think he will fail without it. Ultimately, as for the differing opinions soon to be expressed in this thread, you either believe in the possibilities of redemption or you don't. 2 3
US Egg Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 Some certainly getting a bit worked up with their hanging Chad. 1
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 He can make plays. What a waste of potential to date. But it’s not a stretch to say it’s his arm more than his pedigree that gets him NFL camp invites. 1
bigK14094 Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 The form sheet says he will, once again, screw it up.
