Democrats are crafting talking points from the NY Times article to give to all their surrogates to exonerate him and debunk the allegations.

Quote

While Joe Biden has remained publicly silent about a sexual assault allegation made against him, his presidential campaign has sought to coordinate and unify Democratic messaging on the matter, advising surrogates earlier this month to say that the allegation “did not happen.”

The Biden campaign circulated talking points among top Democratic supporters shortly after the New York Times published a story earlier this month about the allegation by Tara Reade, a former staff assistant in Biden’s Senate office who says he assaulted her in 1993.

Stacy Abrams, yesterday on CNN shamelessly parroted those exact talking points.  Never mind the fact that the NY times did not exonerate him or for that matter their "exhaustive" research on it didn't even uncover the two people who just came out to back up Reade's claims or even unearth the video from the grave from her mother.   And, that article was based off what the NY times had on April 13th, not the newest developments.

But now the New York Times is saying that Biden's teams talking points are "inaccurately" describing their reporting. Ouch!

Quote

The New York Times rebuked the Biden campaign on Wednesday, telling Fox News that the reported talking points that have been circulated to prominent Democrats "inaccurately" describe the paper's reporting on the candidate's accuser Tara Reade.

"Buzzfeed reported on the existence of talking points being circulated by the Biden campaign that inaccurately suggest a New York Times investigation found that Tara Reade’s allegation 'did not happen.' Our investigation made no conclusion either way," a spokesperson for the Times said in a statement. "As Buzzfeed correctly reported, our story found three former Senate aides whom Reade said she complained to contemporaneously, all of whom either did not remember the incident or said that it did not happen."

The spokesperson continued, "The story also included former interns who remembered Reade suddenly changing roles and no longer overseeing them, which took place during the same time period that Reade said she was abruptly reassigned. The Times also spoke to a friend who said Reade told her the details of the allegation at the time; another friend and Reade’s brother say she told them of a traumatic sexual incident involving Biden."

Seriously, I'm not one for conspiracy theories.  But who here actually believes that there isn't some tampering going on with Biden's Senatorial papers that are being housed at the University of Delaware?   Lots of it is stored on hard drives.   Tara Reade is asking for this to be unearthed, why would she do this?  She claims she made a complaint and it would be there, she has to know that if they opened it up and nothing was there, that it would hurt her case.   But some Democrats are even calling for this to happen.

I don't trust it one bit.

We live in a deeply strange moment in history where a presidential candidate who happens to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of a hostile foreign power gives projectile word-vomit answers to a news anchor who appears to be wearing an Instagram-type filter instead of a suit. You can’t make this stuff up, and in the time of the Wuhan coronavirus, you don’t have to.

Who's in charge of burping Biden today?

This kind of explains why people like @BillStime are stupid enough to think you can compare deaths in Vietnam to Chinese Virus deaths. It's why chuckleheads like him count the number of times Trump sniffles when he speaks.

Because no matter how stupid you are, you can't  be SO stupid as to think Biden is going to be your next president.

It's why the meltdown continues. In glorious fashion.
