Well, calls to foreign governments from the Vice President are federal records, and Trump certainly has the authority to order National Archives to make them public... The paper is basically "The standard model of the big bang predicts galaxies should merge. We found a situation where THREE galaxies are merging. The x-ray observations are cool." 80% or more of scientific papers are button counting or bottle washing. This "study" (which is a ridiculous overstatement by Fox, it's a "report") is basically "While we were counting buttons, we found a shiny one."
