Just Joshin' Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Sometimes it is better not to take the shot. Seems like a high risk if shoulder not yet cleared. Not disappointed in least.
dje85 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 He hasn't signed anything yet. Likely he will yes. But until he sings which won't be until tomorrow earliest the it still is anyone's ball game If Beane actually wants him I'm sure if he upped the offer we could steal him. Especially when the Seahawks deal is only a one year deal.

Yeah one local TV sports guy reported what Beane said as well. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

Having him not playing in the beginning of the season increases the risk of a bad signing. Seattle definitely needed him more than the Bills and were willing to take the chance.

daz28 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Roll over the $10M he would have cost us, and have a look at him as a UFA next year if he truly is healthy. Glad we didn't gamble on a shoulder injury.
nemhoff Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Dude can't stay healthy, glad that we "missed" out on that one! 3

MR8 Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 With the seeming emergence of Darryl Johnson, they already moved on from Eli Harold, they're backlogged at the DE position. Ziggy wouldn't have a role at all really, unless they were still actively looking to move on from Shaq. Which at this point would be silly IMO.
