BuffaloHokie13 Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I'm fine with Trust the Process. McBeane is pretty annoying though
RobbRiddick Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I'd rather retire "it was a bold move" as so often used by John Murphy whenever the Bills make a head scratching decision.
Boatdrinks Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I voted for trust the process as McBeane is a sort of truncated way to refer to the Bills HC and GM.... but can we throw in at the end of the day”, “ generational talent “ and “ with that being said “ ( personal most hated phrase used on this board) while we’re at it ?
teef Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 "it's all pink on the inside" i don't want to retire it or anything. just wanted to put it out there. 3 1
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 ..."hear me out"......... gotta be first.......... 1
Rocket94 Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 How about "generational" watch an old Jim Brown highlight. The man looked like a man amongst boys!

Cash Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I think "McBeane" is a decent shorthand for things like "the front office" or "the Bills' braintrust" or "the people in charge at 1 Bills Drive". "Trust the process" wasn't great when the 76ers were using it and it's still not great now. I (thankfully) haven't actually seen people using "McClappy", so TTP got my vote.
Just Joshin' Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I dislike McBeane and McClappy. Since there is only one vote, no more McClappy. While McBeane is a short cut for two names, McClappy is offensive and not funny. 1 1
BuffAlone Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 McClappy has to go.I don't ever recall McBeane stating that was part of the process 2 2

OldTimeAFLGuy Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 ..despite the rampid naysayers, I'm partial to the "McTrio" ala McBeane, McDermott & McDaboll...too many have their nylons wound too damn tight to interject a bit of humor and fun into things.....sad........ 2 1

boater Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I'm not offended by any of the three. I particularly like McBean because it's handy shorthand. Much better than typing McDermott and Beane. 1
