Kirby Jackson Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) Now that we have reached peak offseason it feels like a good time for some spring cleaning. Which of these 2 gets voted off the island first? While they both need to go, let’s see which one TBD finds more annoying. Edited May 8, 2019 by Kirby Jackson 1
Saxum Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 No McClappy? That is pretty insulting IF you are a fan? 4
billsfan5121 Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I would vote McBeane. I can’t stand that name. I don’t know why. I can’t believe that name was used and actually stuck. 1
Heavy Kevi Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) Neither! Just having an ice cold pitcher of process, myself... EDIT: no, that's not my tattoo Edited May 7, 2019 by Heavy Kevi 1 3 3

If you like the personnel that’s Beane. If you like the coaching and preparedness that’s McDermott. It’s year 3 and we need to look at them as different people. FWIW, I think that they both do a good job. 12
C.Biscuit97 Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 Both but especially Trust the process is stuff people have been saying for years, especially the 76ers. It’s like when you’ve been a crappy boyfriend for years but you keep telling your girlfriend to just trust the process. 3

Lighten up Francis... its a term of endearment of two guys on the same page rarely seen in sports 1

I think McDermott gets the final say on all personnel moves over Beane.

Johnny Hammersticks Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I’m fine with both. I am, however, in favor of retiring “quick first step,” “lunch pail guy,” and “high motor.” 7
Coach Tuesday Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I would like to write in "Another Whaley Gem," but it's become Rico's trademark so I suppose we should leave it be. And it's better than "Ralph Is Cheap" which is actually true. 3 3

It reflects the closeness of their relationship. They've been tied together even since Bacon was sleeping around on his ex-employer with Mc in winter 2017. It's McBacon now, btw. He brings home the Bacon for his work-wife Mc. Totally unobnoxious. Endearing even. 1 1
eball Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I think the saying at OBD is actually "respect the process" -- so trust the process can go. I don't like McBeane either.
TroutDog Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I voted for ‘McBean’ for the reason listed above. It’s ridiculous. 1

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 Sorry buy IMO - McBeane is just silly (stupid) These two gentlemen and the Process will be here for a long time 6 minutes ago, WhoTom said: Trust the McBeane. ? Process the Beane 1
Freddie's Dead Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 While I'm not a fan of Trust the Process, it needs to stay, if only for the ability to mock it. Getting rid of McBeane? C'mon man.
