Watkins was arguably the greatest freshman WR in NCAA history.

 

When the U made the terrible Al Golden hire they inadvertently boosted Clemson to another level by hand delivering them south Florida recruits like Watkins for the next number of years.    Same with Louisville and West Virginia programs.

There are 6 or 7 DEs with first round grades, then it falls off after that, about 2 with 2nd round grades, 4 with 3rd round grades.

Cam Akers and Albert O are my early favorites for the Bills.

 

Akers is a perfect back for the Bills with McCoy and Gore being gone after 2019.

 

A three man rotation of Singletary, Yeldon and Akers would be mighty sweet for Allen.

Devonta Smith is best known for his clutch overtime catch in the title game against Georgia. He was only a freshman, but trust me.....he is now a state hero at Alabama.

 

When you look at his stats, remember that Jeudy, Ruggs, Irv Smith, Jaylen Waddle (a name you will keep on hearing), Damien Harris, Josh Jacobs, and Najee Harris also had to see the ball. He also nursed a hamstring problem for a few games and Saban held him out.

 

Devonta isn't as fast as Ruggs and Waddle (they run sub 4.25 40s), nor is he as fast as Jeudy, but he is very quick, has excellent hands, gets open with ease, and is perfectly coordinated. He makes fully extended catches on a regular basis, and I am talking about his entire body being horizontal. He is a quiet kid, one likely to stay out of trouble. Other players on the team talk about how good and unheralded he is.

 

BB, I can't tell you how much I would want this kid on the Bills if he stays healthy.

 

 

They really run sub 4.25?  Only three guys have run that at the combine since 1999.   If its true holy crow.

Saw a lot of Evan Weaver, 6'3" 245 Cal,  last year and guy was a tackling machine, surprised hes not getting more love.

Auburn WR Seth Williams made clutch catches all day, will be a stud going forward.

 

Penn St TE Pat Freiermuth  just might be the best TE in the country, real smooth runner and hard to tackle.

 

Side note: Ed Orgeron has the most amazing voice sounds like an old weathered fisherman who smokes 10 packs a day
