An article from a website no one knows about citing a writing who is admittedly guessing, is not a real projection, it is misleading. It's common sense, no need to try and parse word definitions.

The article is, by it's own admission, just some writer's guess and his reasoning is "they have money and a good D." Bro! The title says ‘Projected’.... I didn’t write the article, saw it on bleacher report and thought I would share. Nowhere in the title or article does it say they have sign signed him. And bro 247sports.com has a global Alexa Ranking of 1,703. It’s a CBS website. NFL.com has a ranking of 1,670. Just for a comparison. Check it out for yourself. One of the most visited sports websites on the planet.... cmon man. Edited May 7, 2019 by wppete 1

When news outlets cover elections, they will say that a candidate is "projected" to take such-and-such a district because they have reliable evidence, such as exit polling, or a majority of polling places having tallied. Thus, projections are rarely wrong. This is the most common use, and connotation of the word. Not a simple guess.
wppete Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) Quote Report: Jason Pierre-Paul may miss season with neck injury The Buccaneers said defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was released from a hospital after a car accident last week and would undergo further evaluation without offering any information about the nature of his injuries. A report about that injury on Tuesday casts doubt on Pierre-Paul’s chances of playing this season. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Pierre-Paul suffered a neck injury in the single car accident and is now seeing specialists to determine whether or not the fracture will keep him from getting on the field. Schefter adds that the belief is that Pierre-Paul will likely need surgery. It’s not the first time that Schefter has shared medical news about Pierre-Paul. After Pierre-Paul injured his hand in a 2015 fireworks accident, Schefter shared a picture of his medical record. That led Pierre-Paul to sue Schefter and ESPN in a case that was settled in 2017. No such records were shared in Tuesday’s report, which doesn’t make the news any better for Pierre-Paul or the Buccaneers as they deal with the possibility that the pass rusher won’t be in the lineup this year. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/05/07/report-jason-pierre-paul-may-miss-season-with-neck-injury/ Add another team to the Ziggy sweepstakes. On the plus side the Bucs are going to a 3-4 which doesn't fit Ansah's skills anymore than it does Gerald McCoy's. AND their cap situation is pretty jacked up. They need to create about $8M in cap space yet just to sign their draft picks. 1

Max DeMara @SportsGuyTheMax so you're saying, chances are this guy here, who "projected" ziggy to the bills, is not a simple guess and that projections are rarely wrong? welcome to buffalo ziggy!!
