Last Guy on the Bench Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Sorry if this has been posted, but I haven't seen it. Hilarious compilation of Giants fans going out of their skulls at the Daniel Jones pick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkQrgk-BoLc&feature=youtu.be Feels very familiar to me from many Bills drafts, though not this one. 4
eball Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 That was awesome. In these situations I always feel sorry for the player, because it's not his fault -- but wow. The draft crowd at the stadium all booed the pick! The Giants have become a joke. 1

Yeah - it is a shame for the poor player. What I really empathize with is that complete sense of helplessness those fans are feeling. When you are stuck with an owner/GM/coach that is driving you crazy and there is nothing you can do about it, you feel like an enraged five-year-old. Of course, the whole thing also illustrates how ludicrous it is that so many of us take this parlor game so seriously (me definitely included - I take a four-day holiday from work every Draft). 1
PirateHookerMD Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) To be fair, many of us reacted the same way with Allen over Rosen. A year later the Cardinals could barely give the kid away, which shows what most of the league thought about him. Edited April 28, 2019 by PirateHookerMD 1
TAinLack. Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Wishing the kid does well, but that was a puzzling pick and the biggest reach of the draft.
gonzo1105 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 To me it’s nowhere near as funny when a guy is self recording himself for a reaction and attention on the internet. What made the Jets picks so funny over the years was seeing a 3rd party camera(ESPN) catching their reactions to their picks 1 1

JaCrispy Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) Funniest stuff I’ve seen in a long time...those reactions are priceless, probably because we have all been there ??? Edited April 28, 2019 by JaCrispy 1
SoCal Deek Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 They should have taken Christian Laetner! He did way more while at Duke than Daniel Jones.
starrymessenger Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 So he reaches on his first pick for a player he says needs to sit behind Eli for three years. Got it. Glad he's not our GM. 1
Chicken Boo Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Almost as bad as the Jets passing on Sapp for a tight end.
Rubes Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 That was spectacular. And as other posters have noted, we can all relate to the shock, horror, and helplessness those folks feel.
LSHMEAB Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 That's good stuff, but I'm partial to the reactions from fans who pause for a second, realize they have never heard of the player, and then proceed to celebrate like they won the lottery.

qwksilver Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 The last clip with the guy in the LT jersey just walks out of the room, while his buddy just laughs his a$$ off was hilarious. 1
