I am a long time Bills fan as well as a USC fan living in Los Angeles. Porter Gustin would have been the steal of all time as a UDFA. If  he can stay healthy he will make the Saints roster and be a productive starter for them. I was praying that the Bills drafted him in the 7th round. Injuries derailed his career at SC but when he was on the field he was the best player on the roster. A sack machine that can go sideline to sideline. I am so bummed out that the Saints made a move on him.

Hopefully the Bills can keep an eye on him and if they let him go, give him a call.

JLC slams the current free-for-all UDFA signing period is now and proposes an alternative: a digital 8th round.

Just 1 extra round wouldn't change much.  They can expand it to what it used to be, which IIRC was 15 rounds.  Digitially after round 7 though, I agree.

...remember the days of 17 rounds back in the 70's...."and with the 441st pick in the 17th round of the 1971 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Colts select Don "The Human Bowling Ball" Nottingham, RB from Kent State".......

If there was any doubt that LaCanfora is a hack, this article should cement it.
